Mentor IMC Group announces new Group MD appointment

Global oil and gas project management resource specialists Mentor IMC Group has announced the appointment of Simon Bonini as Group Managing Director as part of its international growth strategy.

Bonini has 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry with his most recent post being Director LNG at Centrica, having previously played a key role in the growth of BG’s LNG business.  He is responsible for supporting and helping to manage Mentor IMC Group’s rapid expansion within the oil, gas and LNG sectors, following recent significant contract wins across East Africa, Asia and Australia.

A graduate of Imperial College London in Chemical Engineering and a Chartered Engineer with an MBA, Bonini was a founder board member and Chief Operating Officer of private equity company 4Gas, whose largest shareholder is the Carlyle Group.
